I just got around to watching this last night (yeah, I know, I know).

Definitely would've been a student house favourite back in the day.

Rather shallow perhaps, but I enjoyed it. Liked the werewolves too, very good use of stilts.

I loved the film, thought it was great, pity they had to get funding from abroad and shoot it aborad. Another missed op form the British Film industry!!! If only it was a romantic comedy about werewolfs writen by Dick Curtis and have hugh grant in it, film council would have SNAPed it up!

Great flick. Good score, as well IMHO. Obviously made by people who are fans of the genre (hence one of the soldiers being named Bruce Campbell). Gotta love the Matrix gag too.

I actually first borrowed it off my granddad. He's got an ace DVD collection for an old giffer. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

They did get some UK money. The now defunct NPF gave him some to develop the script and I seem to remember Neil saying it was the guys behind "Red Dwarf" who was supporting him. But you're right took a lot of effort and several failed attempts before the Yanks came in and made things happen.
